Animato announces Spring 2008 Executive Briefing

January 14, 2008. Animato will present its Spring 2008 seminar titled SOA: Accelerating Business Alignment on February 20, 2008 at The Crescent Club in Dallas, Texas. It is specifically designed for Chief Information Officers, and will demystify Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and its potential; discuss its impact on business growth, flexibility and efficiency; and share actionable SOA strategies for organizations.

The seminar includes an executive presentation and panel discussion, followed by a Q & A session. The panelists are Ken Nelson, Keith Dlott and Herb Askie.

Ken Nelson is a seasoned leader in healthcare information systems and directs Texas Health Resources (THR) enterprise initiatives in Human Resources (HR). He is charged with creating and implementing solutions that meet and complement IT, HR and corporate strategies. An early technology advocate, his team has recently completed enterprise SOA readiness initiative at THR.

Keith Dlott is a senior specialist at Oracle, focused on helping clients create and execute on a migration strategy to a service-enabled environment. He has first-hand experience in using SOA in energy, healthcare and services industries to dramatically lower operational costs and improve systems performance.

Herb Askie is an industry veteran and leads Animato’s technology strategy and planning, IT transformation initiatives, ERP systems delivery, complex systems integration and architecture, project/program management, outsourcing and business continuity.
