The Software Developer or Engineer is responsible for implementation / construction of programs and modules for SCA Product suite and client side implementation projects including the unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop assigned Program and perform unit testing  before releasing
• Adhere to the standard software development guidelines and coding standards
• Publishes Unit Test results in specified format and frequency
• Assist project management by providing informed design and/or effort estimates as needed.
• Report time and task status consistently and reliably.
• Communicate and function efficiently within a team environment.
• Work efficiently by automating the work and improving on effort saving.
• Keeps the supervisor informed and escalates the blockages / issues on time
• Be available on job as and when required for any critical delivery
• Inform well in advance regarding any planned leaves

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering is required (or equivalent experience), in Computer Science preferably. The candidate will need 2-4 years of total experience with at least 1 years of experience in following.

• Object-oriented software design / implementation.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Experience in Programming, designing, and developing analytical applications.
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE related technologies, JSF, JSP, Servlets, XML and Weblogic application server.
• Experience in RDBMS including database designing, querying and optimizing.
• Experience in using SQL server or oracle databases.
