PITTSBURGH, PA, January 6, 2009 – SCA Technologies today announced the appointment of Dooley as the Vice President of Sales. In this role, Mr. Dooley will have responsibility for global sales of SCA Technologies’ software, implementation services and customer training. This includes the U.S, Canada, Europe, APMIA (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa) and the Pacific Rim. “We welcome Jim to SCA Technologies and are encouraged by his successful sales career, and will help us meet our sales goals each year” said SCA Technologies’ President and CEO Samarth Sarthi.
Jim is a 25-year veteran of the high-tech industry where he has held executive positions in both Sales and Marketing. Jim has worked with start-ups as well as mature organizations in the high-tech software and services industry. In each of his previous positions, he successfully built and managed his teams - increasing sales, expanding pipelines and improving win-loss ratios. Most recently, Jim was at NetPro where he held the roles of Vice President of Sales and Marketing which was successfully sold to Quest Software.
Prior to that he was Principal at InfoMentis, Vice President of Sales for Apriva, Vice President, Chief Sales Officer for Extreme Logic – Microsoft’s North American Partner of the Year. In addition, Jim has also worked in other executive sales and marketing capacities at METASeS, transchannel, ALG Software, Viasoft and MSA/Dun & Bradstreet Software.
Jim is a CPA and resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he lives with his wife and three daughters.
