Project Methodology

Animato’s Delivery Methodology (AniMotion) combines leading practices in business processes with Oracle applications to develop practical solutions that address the top concerns of business organizations today. It is derived from multiple disciplines such as project management, quality assurance, process flow, reengineering, and systems implementation. The web-based functionality is designed for flexibility within a well-defined structure – one that allows for unforeseen events while fulfilling the required objectives at each phase and overall project level.

Activate
Each project starts with comprehensive project and communication plans that detail tasks, resources, and calendars for internal and external meetings. Concurrently, a project charter is developed that defines the scope, timelines, milestones, testing strategies and more. After the assessment of infrastructure and team readiness, and in-depth resource plan is developed. This phase culminates in definition of project scope, business objectives and project plan.

Architect
The Architect phase commences with multi-layered situational analysis based on inputs obtained from surveys, interviews and workshops. This is then compared with the desired implementation outcome. Project requirements are gathered, and gaps and misalignments are identified. The next step is creation of the solution roadmap and overall conceptual design. This phase concludes with the finalization of the design test and training strategies.

Construct
In the Construct phase, the inputs of the first two phases are translated into action. The technical environment is created, infrastructure put in place, applications are configured, and customized elements are designed. This is followed by extensive test plans for each level, client training plans and communication.

Validate
In this critical phase, in-depth testing is carried out at module and system levels to reconfirm that the integration, performance, load tolerances and conversion elements produce the desired results. Outstanding issues are identified and reconciled. Post-production plans for issue tracking and prioritization are put in place.

Deploy
Once the project is validated, the course is set for the system to ‘go live’. End-user training is completed, changes migrated and approvals confirmed, and the new systems are made operational. The support team cutover and closure plan is finalized.

Transition
Animato continues its post-implementation support with ongoing interactions with the client at all organizational levels. This includes careful monitoring of system performance, issue resolution, continuous improvement plans, client meetings to review and evaluate the project, user feedback sessions, and transfer of documentation. The project officially concludes with a formal handover, covering all aspects of project management and implementation.
