When something changes in the supply chain, SCA Planner incorporates the event into a forward category plan along with metrics such as food cost and supply plan. For example, if a demand planner updates the demand plan or a commodity manager updates commodity forecasts, SCA Planner notifies supply chain planners and purchasing managers. The SCA Planner intelligence engine also provides timely insights and recommends supply chain opportunities, all in real time. SCA Planner incorporates these updates, using contract basis and reporting metrics to generate prices, forecasts and projections.
